Dragonframe is an Oslo-based motion animation software used to make several animated films, including Disney's Frankenweenie, Coraline's Laika, The Boxtrolls and ParaNorman. It is also used to produce stop motion scenes in live action films such as Star Wars. To create the stop motion effect, software controls the digital camera. Additional hardware add-ons can be attached to control lighting and camera movement. This software allows users to manipulate cameras and scenes and then combine frames into a moving sequence of frames. Animators can view several individual frames for comparison, and can preview sequences of frames against a moving background.
