“Since its inception, Dropbox has had early and organic adoption in Vietnam amongst individual users. We’re excited to expand our services to business teams especially in the fields of media production, manufacturing and AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) — where we see a strong fit between our services and the workflows of these teams’” said Doreen Tan, Head of Asia, Dropbox.

“Furthermore, Vietnam is working towards its commitment to increase the digital economy’s share of GDP from 14% to 20% by 2045, powered by Vietnam’s tech savvy population, a burgeoning startup ecosystem and its expertise in technology, software and engineering. We’re excited for the opportunity to contribute to the Vietnam government’s ambitious goals and hope to play an important role in supporting Vietnam’s digital economy,” concluded Doreen Tan.

In addition to establishing a network of local partners, Dropbox has also secured an exclusive distributor in Solid & Soft.

Wonjae Choi, CEO of Solid & Soft said, “We are excited to introduce a new digital way of working to our customers and partners in Vietnam. Through the partnership with Dropbox, we will deliver tailored services to our customers, who now have the ability to purchase Dropbox via local currency and receive technical support from local partners. We hope the initiative will enable stronger and more secure digital collaboration amongst businesses and teams in Vietnam.”

Dropbox for business teams is now available in Vietnam via all local payment methods, with VAT invoices issued to business and enterprise customers as required.
