TGA Preview, NVIDIA Previews looking forward to CES: GeForce Greats, Jensen Huang Keynote, GeForce LAN 50, Prizes, and more

Twenty-five years ago, we launched the first GPU, the GeForce 256 and on December 12 at 8:00 pm PT we will begin to preview the future!



Before we get to CES with a keynote from CEO Jensen Huang, our social channels on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and X will take a nostalgic journey to celebrate the all-time greats of PC gaming. We’ll also be hosting GeForce LAN 50, an online & in-person 50 Hour Gaming Marathon.

  • The Game Awards: Today, at The Game Awards, CD Projekt and Platige Image unveiled a new trailer for The Witcher 4, which was pre-rendered in a custom build of Unreal Engine 5 on an unannounced NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU. You can check out the trailer here!
  • Relive PC Gaming’s Best Moments with #GeForceGreats: Starting December 12, we’re celebrating the games, hardware, and culture that have defined two-and-a-half decades of PC gaming fun. From the launch of the first 3D accelerators and the game-changing GeForce 256 to today’s AI-accelerated graphics and jaw-dropping blockbuster games, we’re taking a look back at the biggest and best moments in PC gaming history.
  • Follow our GeForce, GeForce NOW, Studio, and AI PC social channels to relive treasured memories and join exciting debates with the GeForce community. By participating, you’ll have a chance to win amazing prizes from a series of "mystery boxes" unlocked through community engagement on social media.   • NVIDIA Keynote: On January 6, 2025 at 6:30pm PT, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will officially open CES 2025 with a live keynote, streamed direct from Las Vegas to viewers around the world on YouTube and Twitch.
  • GeForce LAN 50 (Online & In-Person 50 Hour Gaming Marathon): GeForce LAN is a fan-favourite celebration of PC Gaming. In 2011 aboard the decommissioned USS Hornet aircraft carrier in California. NVIDIA hosted this legendary three-day GeForce LAN party which featured hundreds of gamers who brought their systems, played games around the clock, competed in awesome tournaments, and won a ton of prizes. Gamers have asked for a return ever since.

    Now, GeForce LAN is back and going global starting at 4:30pm PT on January 4 through January 6 for 50 hours of gaming, contests, prizes, and more. You can join millions of gamers from around the world for epic online GeForce LAN Missions to receive awesome in-game items and share on social to win #GeForceGreats prizes. GeForce LAN 50 events are also coming to Las Vegas, Beijing, Berlin, and Taipei. Gamers can register for physical LANs on December 16, 6am PT here ahead of the event kick off at 4:30pm PT.
