Xiaomi SU7 car is equipped with two independent buttons that can switch driving modes with just a press of a button.

Vn-Z.vn November 16, 2023: The Chinese Ministry of Industry recently disclosed some information about Xiaomi's car. Additionally, leaked online images showcase the interior of the Xiaomi vehicle, specifically focusing on the steering wheel design.

The images depict the new car utilizing a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, featuring a flat-bottom design and accompanied by two independent rotary buttons. It can be inferred that the left button is related to driving assistance, while the right button, with a red circle, could adjust the driving mode, creating a high-performance car sensation.

Besides the steering wheel, the images also reveal an LCD control panel, a head-up display (HUD), a gear lever, and a floor-mounted accelerator pedal. Additionally, the door opening button is placed on the inside of the door handle.

The information from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Technology indicates that Xiaomi will launch two car models: the SU7 and SU7 Max, corresponding to a single motor and front and rear dual motors, respectively.

The car's smooth body lines feature a sloping tail design, and the rear uses continuous taillights with the Xiaomi logo phonetically pronounced at the top, and "Beijing Xiaomi" alongside "SU7," "SU7 Pro," or "SU7 Max" at the bottom.

A notable point is that the front of the Xiaomi car uses the usual "MI" logo commonly associated with Xiaomi and has not been redesigned specifically for the car.

Xiaomi cars can be equipped with side fender badges, rear window glass labels, ETC, different-shaped rearview mirrors, different styles of skylights, different models of front door glass, laser radar, different wheel appearances, and colored brake calipers. The side fender badges and rear window glass labels display 'Founder's Edition,' implying that the new model will have a Founder's Edition version.

The product brand of Xiaomi cars remains unchanged, still under the name Xiaomi. The company's name is Beijing Automotive Group Off-Road Vehicle Co., Ltd., with the registered address at No. 1 Tung Tam Street, Chau Hanh Industrial Zone, Trieu Phong Town, Thuan Nghi District, Beijing. The production address is at No. 21, Administrative and Economic Development Zone, Beijing.


The Xiaomi SU7 car has dimensions of length*width*height: 4997mm*1963mm*1455mm, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. The Xiaomi SU7 Max car has dimensions of length*width*height: 4997mm*1963mm*1440mm, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.


The Xiaomi SU7 car uses a lithium phosphate battery developed by the Lithium Phosphate Battery Corporation 'Xiangyang', with an engine power of 220KW and a maximum speed of 210 km/h. The SU7 Max uses a lithium-ion battery from CATL, equipped with front and rear dual motors with power of 220KW and 275KW respectively, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 265 km/h.


Xiaomi's automobile manufacturing plant in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone has started small-scale trial production. Currently, they have produced several dozen cars and plan to commence mass production in December, aiming for an official launch in February 2024.
